Additional M.2 connector
— laptops with at least one free M.2 connector.This connector is mainly used for installing high-speed SSD drives (for more details, see "SSD M.2"), however, it can also be used for some other types of peripherals. Anyway, the presence of free connector provides additional features for upgrading the laptop. At the same time, it should be taken into account that M.2 slots can use different connection interfaces (PCI-E and/or SATA) and have different sizes (usually from 30 to 80 mm in length with standard width of 22 mm). So compatibility with specific drives and other components should be specified separately.
