Line MacBook Pro 14 (2023)
Updated in 2023, the MacBook Pro line of laptops, in addition to 16-inch laptops, also includes more compact 14-inch ultrabooks (16 mm profile thickness and 1.6 kg weight). In the MacBook Pro series, they belong to lower-order solutions, but in fact they are not inferior to full-fledged 16-inch "plugins" in anything. The main feature of the 2023 models was the transition to the new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, which, compared to the first and second generation of Apple M chips, increased maximum performance, increased performance per core and extended battery life up to 18 hours. At maximum mincemeat, the Apple MacBook Pro 14 2023 could be equipped with a 38-core processor, 96GB of RAM, and an 8192GB SSD. In Apple's humble opinion, those specs put this little guy on par with the powerful but bulky Mac Pro workstations. The other key change in the 2023 lineup is a new 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display based on a miniLED matrix. It boasts a resolution of 3024x1964 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, a huge margin of brightness (1000 cd/m2 or 1600 cd/m2 in peak mode), reference color reproduction, support for HDR10 format and a built-in ambient light sensor. It will be an excellent option for professional work with design, three-dimensional graphics, animation, photo and video processing, color correction, etc. Additional equipment includes USB C ports with integrated Thunderbolt interface, Force Touch proprietary touchpad, fast charging, fingerprint scanner, ergonomic a backlit keyboard, a 1080p webcam, and great built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos that sound almost like full speakers.
