The Apple MacBook Air 2022 [Z160000AU] laptop is designed with an emphasis on compactness and comfortable mobile use. Its reliable aluminum body weighs only 1.24 kg, and the thickness does not exceed 11 mm. It's convenient to carry in a backpack, hold in your hands, use on the go, on your lap, or comfortably work with it on the couch without the risk of overheating thanks to passive cooling and low heat emission. In its compact format, it features a signature 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a 2.5K resolution and brightness of up to 500 nits. The brightness automatically adjusts with the help of a light sensor. It is also worth noting the optimal battery capacity and high energy efficiency, which allows the laptop to operate without recharging for up to 18 hours. A practical solution is the MagSafe magnetic port for power connection. Despite its release in 2022, the ultrabook remains relevant and is a viable alternative to the modern MacBook Neo 2026 in terms of functionality and cost.
M2 Generation
The laptop delivers decent performance thanks to the M2 processor with integrated 8-core graphics and 16 GB of RAM. Everyday office and home tasks are performed in multitasking mode without noticeable lag. The hardware platform allows for running simple games at minimal settings, keeping multiple browser tabs open, engaging in amateur video editing, and processing photos and music. The main limitation remains the 256 GB SSD, which is not designed for storing 4K media and other large files. Among other pleasant technical features, the audio system with four speakers featuring Dolby Atmos spatial sound, a fingerprint scanner for data protection, and two USB4 ports with Thunderbolt support for connecting peripherals, external devices, and power are worth mentioning.

Well, what can I say, a MacBook is a MacBook. I’ve grown tired of my bulky Windows laptops; it’s quite inconvenient to constantly move around with them. So, I decided to treat myself to the ultra-light Apple MacBook Air. To be honest, our paths with Apple products had diverged for a while, but I got a bit impulsive and decided to give it a try. Well, now I understand why they have such a huge fan base. It’s really wonderful. I love the style, the lightness, and although the screen isn’t very large, its quality is simply incredible. I primarily need the laptop for working with documents, browsing the internet, etc. I never considered it for gaming. I really liked the built-in speakers. The sound is high-quality, clear, and rich; I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Of course, you shouldn’t compare it to full-fledged speakers, but for a laptop, it’s quite decent. If you’re looking for a light, ultra-thin laptop for work and leisure, you can definitely consider this option; it’s truly unreal.
