Windows 10 laptops
Windows 10
— this OS was released in the fall of 2014 as the next update to the family of desktop OSes from Microsoft and the successor to Windows 8.1 (number 9 was skipped due to technical reasons). It introduced many innovations, such as the built-in voice assistant Cortana, the Edge browser, support for multiple desktops, updated Start menu and notification center, radical update of standard pre-installed programs, etc. In addition, the system also received the Windows 10 Mobile edition, which provided high degree of integration between smartphones and PCs/laptops; however, the mobile version was generally unsuccessful and was discontinued in early 2020. At the moment, it is already outdated, having transferred the furrows of power to its successor Windows 11.Show
