The general features of M.2 SSD are described in the relevant paragraph. As for NVMe, this is special technology used when connecting SSD drives via the PCIe interface (most of these media use the M.2 connector). Recall that PCIe is the fastest of the interfaces implemented in the M.2 connector; and NVMe further increases the speed and efficiency of the solid-state module. Thus, choosing laptop from this category, you can be sure that the M.2 SSD installed in it uses PCIe connection, and with an additional “add-on” that further increases performance.

Initially, it was believed that NVMe made sense to use primarily in high-performance systems, especially gaming ones. However, the development and cost reduction of the technology have led to the fact that such drives are also found in more basic laptops.
