As part of the E product line, tech giant HP produces a variety of monitors designed for productive home or office work. Therefore, when developing them, the emphasis is not on color reproduction, increased hertz or HDR support, but on making it convenient to work behind the monitor, eyes are no less tired, and additional features would contribute to productive work. So, all monitors from the E series support a whole range of eye protection measures, including the Eye Ease feature, Flicker-Free and a built-in blue filter. Moreover, the blue filter affects the accuracy of color reproduction and works by default, without the need to enable it in the quick on-screen menu.
An obligatory element of the programme is an ergonomic stand with the ability to individually select the height, angle, rotation and rotation of the display, with which the user can arrange the workplace at his own discretion. An equally important factor is the presence of a built-in USB hub, to which you can connect additional peripherals, memory media or a laptop. In the latter case, a universal USB-C port is used, which is capable of simultaneously transferring, charging a laptop and broadcasting an image to an external monitor. In addition, each E-series monitor comes with the HP Display Center Pack, allowing you to save a multi-tasking desktop configuration.
The range of the E series is quite rich and has a little more than ten monitors that are quite similar to each other. All use high-end IPS-matrices. In simpler models, the resolution is limited to the classic Full HD, and more expensive monitors can display a picture in 2K. Most often on sale there are monitors with a diagonal of 24 inches, less often 23 or 27 inches. In terms of functionality, there is a minimum of differences between them, most often the difference lies in the visual design, the combination of video outputs. Most often, they are simultaneously equipped with HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort ports.
