In the range of Asus gaming monitors, the main stars are members of the ROG Strix family. Usually these are fashionable monitors with expensive matrices, backlight synchronization and many other gaming functions. But, as Steam statistics and surveys of online stores show, many video game fans do not need decorations and additional functions, the main thing is that the matrix is fast and the picture looks juicy. It is for such users that the monitors of the TUF line updated in 2019 are designed.

The monitors that are included in this series most often belong to the middle price segment. The most popular are classic IPS matrices with a display diagonal from 24 to 28". Less common are large 32-34-inch curved monitors with VA-matrices. By the standards of their class, TUF demonstrate a fairly high-quality picture with adequate colour reproduction and have a basic gentleman's set of a modern gaming monitor. Namely, a fast matrix with a reaction speed of a couple of milliseconds, a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz, mandatory support for FreeSync. Support for HDR and 4K resolution are found only in the most advanced models of Asus TUF.

Included with the TUF monitors is a set of specialized software for ASUS GamePlus gamers, with which you can display the crosshair of the sight, a game timer, a frame-per-second counter or highlight particularly dark areas of the image using the Shadow Boost feature. Of the additional features, a pair of built-in speakers can be noted. Asus has reserved USB hubs, colorful lighting and design delights for the flagship ROG Strix series.
