Model overview based on user reviews
The Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q is a highly regarded 25-inch gaming monitor known for its fast IPS panel and 144Hz refresh rate, providing a vibrant and bright image. It features adaptive refresh rate technology and shadow boost, enhancing the gaming experience. Users appreciate its functional stand and inclusion of G-Sync, although some find the power button placement inconvenient. While the monitor performs well with DisplayPort, it cannot achieve 144Hz via HDMI, which may be a downside for gaming laptop owners. Despite challenges in finding it at a reasonable price in some regions, users generally find it to be an excellent value, especially when purchased on sale. The monitor is praised for its good response time and resolution-to-diagonal ratio, with minimal issues reported regarding backlight bleed or pixel quality. Overall, it is considered a great choice for gamers seeking a reliable and feature-rich monitor.
Pros

Cons

Very good monitor for its price

The monitor is very good. For its price, this is a very good 144Hz monitor.
Very fast (for IPS) panel
Many features
Highly vibrant and bright image
Includes G-Sync
Very functional stand
They're not there, but if you want to nitpick, it's just that the monitor's power button is in line with the other buttons and it's not marked, and its shape is the same as the other buttons. And damn, they're located on the side at the back of the monitor. When I was adjusting the height, I turned off the monitor about 15 times.

Bought it on sale for $200 and a little extra, and it's worth it, I recommend!

I've been using it for 4 days, the monitor is excellent, a 5+. I got a monitor with a perfect panel, absolutely 0 backlight bleed, I thought that was impossible).
Adaptive refresh rate with frame rates is absolutely TOP "imba", gamers will understand) Shadow boost is also there, sometimes you feel like a "cheater")
Unable to enable 144Hz via HDMI-HDMI cable, only through DP, tried all HDMI versions. This is a downside only for gaming laptop owners.
A good FHD IPS 144Hz gaming monitor.

Everyone says that this model has low-quality matrices, broken pixels and uneven backlighting, I didn’t notice all this, the first time I got a good one, but just in case, check for pixels before buying (the method is on the Internet), otherwise excellent, good gaming monitor.
Matrix (IPS), high hertz (144), good response time (for IPS), excellent (in my opinion) resolution to diagonal ratio (I don’t see pixels).
It is difficult to get at an adequate price in Moscow (at least at the time of purchase), quiet speakers (if you need them at all).
YOLOuse Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q few months
