Experienced gamers hardly need to be convinced of the coolness of AOC monitors, which in our area are nicknamed “moose”. This Taiwanese brand specializes in the production of gaming displays, thanks to which it beats many competitors in this field. The monitors that are included in this series most often belong to the middle price segment. Classical diagonals from 22 to 27" are in the greatest demand. By the standards of their class, the Gaming models demonstrate a pleasant picture with adequate colour reproduction and have the basic gentleman's set of a modern gaming monitor (FreeSync, high hertz, gaming profiles, etc.).

Unlike many other manufacturers who have almost completely switched to IPS rails, AOC is in no hurry with this. The reason is quite banal - despite the mediocre viewing angles, VA and TN matrices are more responsive and based on them it is easier to reduce the response speed to 1 ms without the need for MPRT. Their brightness indicators can reach 400 cd / m² against the standard for IPS 250 cd / m². In addition, such matrices are often cheaper to manufacture.

All this creates an interesting family of gaming monitors with unusual characteristics, which do not have many analogues. For example, the popular VA model AOC C32G2AE at the time of its release was a rare 32-inch gaming monitor with a curved display and a price tag of just over $300. It stands out for its high contrast ratio (80,000,000:1 dynamic), rich colour reproduction, quality calibration, AMD FreeSync Premium support, and six really useful display modes. Despite the fact that about two years have passed since the release, and the price even slightly increased, the C32G2AE model remains a bestseller in the AOC catalog.
