The Gigabyte 27-inch gaming monitor is a mid-range solution with Quad HD resolution and various gamer features. This model stands out with an increased refresh rate of 300 Hz, which can be overclocked even further up to 320 Hz. Synchronization technologies like Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible ensure ultra-smooth video with no jerkiness or blurring. Additionally, gamers will enjoy fast response time (1 ms) and several profile options, including quick aspect ratio changes, highlighting dark scenes (Night Vision), crosshair stabilizing, and more.

The Gigabyte M27Q3 monitor is equipped with an IPS panel with standard contrast (1000:1), a peak brightness of up to 400 nits (with DisplayHDR 400 certification), and high-quality color reproduction. The display supports 10-bit color and a wide color gamut, covering 132% of the sRGB space and 95% of DCI-P3. Plus, even long sessions shouldn't tire your eyes, as indirectly confirmed by TÜV Rheinland certification.

One of the model's advantages is excellent ergonomics: its metal stand has a slim base and offers maximum adjustment freedom – tilt, swivel, height change (13 cm range), and portrait mode. Another highlight is the inclusion of a KVM switch, allowing one set of peripherals to be used with two devices, like a PC and a laptop. Also, there is a USB-hub and a Type C port, which supports both video signal transfer (DisplayPort Alt Mode) and power delivery (PD up to 18W).

You can take it if you're not bothered by the glossy finish.

I can compare this monitor to the M27QA (hereafter I'll call M27Q3 "new" and M27QA "old"). Both monitors are decent, the M27Q3 is newer, with better "hardware" (higher frequency, more power, etc.), and better stand (closer to a rectangle rather than a triangle, so it takes up less space). But there's a downside. The newer monitor has worse anti-glare. The old M27QA feels rough to the touch, and its "graininess" is even visible to the eyes. However, it reflects light less. The new one feels smooth to the touch, is easier to wipe, doesn’t have "grain," but dust is more noticeable and your reflection is quite visible. I don't know where the manufacturer saw anti-glare coating (it’s also claimed on the official website), but I would think it doesn't have it. If you're sitting opposite or near a window, or the light is directed at the monitor - I strongly advise against buying it. Also, the old one has a detachable power supply, while the new one is inside the monitor, which might be a downside for some.

Overall, the monitor is good, worth its money, Gigabyte's KVM works fine (but doesn't emulate devices on the inactive system), and the monitor turns on relatively quickly (unlike some MSI models). The separate KVM button is quite convenient, but it doesn't work when the image from the active source is disconnected (you’ll have to switch the source manually). The software is somewhat flawed, in my opinion, so I wouldn’t rely too much on it.
