Made in the form of a frameless M.2 2280 form factor device, compatible with a wide range of motherboards equipped with an M.2 Socket 3 port. level. Considerable volume (1024 GB), impressive read/write speed (3500/2100 Mbps) and low latency will also appeal to wealthy gamers and enthusiasts.
The hardware basis of the Samsung 960 PRO M.2 MZ-V6P1T0BW SSD is the flagship Samsung Polaris controller, which works in conjunction with a 1 GB LPDDR3-1600 DRAM buffer and proprietary third-generation 3D MLC V-NAND multi-layer flash memory, which is characterized by increased reliability and wear resistance. A large guaranteed write resource (800 TB) and a powerful controller guarantee excellent drive performance as a system drive and any other home and professional use scenarios.
