Intelligent TurboWrite technology allocates a portion of the drive's capacity to act as an SLC cache. For the basic version, the cache volume can reach 42 GB, for the rest — 78 GB.
The entry-level SSD from the Samsung 870 QVO family of SATA SSDs, which includes 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB products based on QLC NAND. This advanced technology can store up to 4 bits of information per cell, which is 33% more than TLC type memory. Higher latency and potentially faster cell wear is fully offset by proprietary Intelligent TurboWrite technology, which is implemented using Samsung's proprietary MKX controller.
To speed up work with small-block data, a DRAM cache is provided, consisting of 1 GB of LPDDR4 memory. In addition to the dynamic SLC cache (6 GB static and up to 36 GB dynamic), which speeds up the writing process several times, wear leveling technology, advanced hardware error correction, flexible power management, NCQ, SMART monitoring and TRIM technology are supported.
The Samsung 870 QVO MZ-77Q1T0 SSD demonstrates impressive block I/O performance (45K/96K IOPS), impressive read/write speed (560/530 Mbps) and low latency. The 92-layer QLC 3D V-NAND memory from Samsung is responsible for storing information. The case of the drive fully complies with the 2.5″ form factor and can be used to assemble new or upgrade existing stationary/mobile systems for various purposes. The claimed resource is enough for daily recording of 190 GB of data for 5 years.

The Samsung brand is known for its quality. Usually. However, this is not the case with everything. This is one of those instances, as the wear rate of the memory cells is abnormally high compared to the memory of other manufacturers in my system. The speed matches the stated specifications.
