The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 OC Low Profile 8G is one of the latest offerings in Gigabyte's line of low-profile graphics cards, designed specifically for use in compact systems with limited space. It occupies only 2 motherboard slots, the length of the printed circuit board is a modest 18 cm, and a simple 450 W power supply should be enough to power a PC with such a tiny one.
All this makes it an ideal choice for mini gaming PCs and multimedia centers where space is a critical factor. The graphics card is equipped with an AD107 GPU, which has 3072 CUDA cores and a GPU frequency of 2475 MHz. The video memory is 8 GB; a 128-bit data exchange bus is used to exchange data with the processor, storage and RAM. PCI Express 4.0 support guarantees high throughput and fast data transfer, and a custom cooling system with three compact fans ensures adequate heat transfer even under intense loads.
Like other NVIDIA video accelerators that are based on the Ada Lovelace architecture, it supports a number of modern technologies, including Ray Tracing and DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). One of the most powerful low-profile graphics cards on the market
The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 OC Low Profile is a great compact solution designed for SFFPC and HTPC builds. This low-profile graphics card takes up two expansion slots and features a cooling system with three small fans. At only 182 mm long, the model remains compact enough to fit into most small cases. Despite the modest size of the cooling system, the device has a factory overclock, although the increase in the GPU frequency is only 15 MHz compared to the reference, reaching 2475 MHz. Thoughtful cooling system with three fans and a pair of heat pipes
To maintain performance in the Low Profile format, Gigabyte engineers have used an original approach. The cooling system includes a single-section radiator of a complex shape and two flattened heat pipes with direct contact. Overclocking results vary by unit, but users on Reddit, for example, have reported a 10% increase in core frequency and nearly 20% in memory frequency. Even without overclocking, the performance of this graphics card is similar to larger standard versions of the RTX 4060. This makes it suitable for most modern AAA games in Full HD at medium-high graphics settings, even without using DLSS.
