A low-cost graphics card based on the nVIDIA GP108-300 GPU, primarily intended for installation in systems with a processor that lacks an integrated graphics core. The main differences are low-profile design, affordable cost, low power consumption and support for hardware-accelerated decoding of resource-intensive high-definition (Full HD) and ultra-high (Ultra HD) video streams.

Due to the small size of the printed circuit board and low heat dissipation, the Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 GV-N1030D5-2GL graphics card can be installed in compact and ultra-compact cases. The graphics core with nVidia Pascal architecture has 384 universal stream processors, 24 texture units and 8 ROPs.
