A high-quality, standalone 2nd generation Oculus Quest virtual reality headset that immerses you in a world of immersive interactive entertainment and creates an environment for productive work. Positioned as a product in the mid-price category for 2021. It is the older model of the Oculus Quest 2 line, which includes similar devices that differ in the amount of built-in permanent memory for games and applications: 64, 12 or 256 GB.
Unlike the vast majority of VR devices that use the computing power of a PC, game consoles or smartphones, this gadget is an independent device that includes everything necessary for operation (System-on-a-Chip, Wi-Fi wireless interface controllers/ Bluetooth and cooling system). The user can expand the capabilities of the Oculus Quest 2 256 Gb virtual reality headset with additional content by connecting it to a PC using the fast Wi-Fi 6 wireless interface.
This model is equipped with high-quality screens with a resolution of 1832x1920 (for each eye), an interpupillary distance adjustment system, a set of gyroscopes and accelerometers. There are also several optical cameras that are used to control the permissible boundaries of the playing area and as source cameras for the AR mode. The autonomy of this model ranges from 2 to 3 hours. It is equipped with two controllers for hand tracking.

If you want to start getting familiar with VR, don't have money for a Valve Index, or don't have a PC, then this is the best choice. Price, image quality, number of games, Oculus Link, comfortable controllers, good tracking. The head mounting is playable, but it may be uncomfortable during long sessions. This thing is really cool, I tried it while visiting a girl I knew, I really liked the feeling, it was just a buzz. The only thing that was not very pleasant was to immediately put on glasses after her because the pad was wet from sweat and so were the controllers, because she played for 2 hours in a row, and it was obvious that she was very hot, but then I realized that this was a normal phenomenon because it was real your face sweats a lot with glasses on, and the controllers need to be held firmly in your hands, otherwise they might slip out and fly away somewhere, but despite this, this is all a very cool thing, from my first experience. If you are not the only one using glasses and controllers, then it’s better to wipe everything with a cloth after yourself, but it doesn’t matter to anyone, you just get used to it after a while and there’s nothing scary or unpleasant. It’s really worth it. I recommend that if you don’t buy it, at least try IT IS SUPER! The glasses fit very comfortably and tightly on the face. The controllers are pleasant to the touch, but it is advisable to hold them firmly in your hands. I didn't find any shortcomings. use Oculus Quest 2 256 GB week i recommend it should buy |
