A powerful 2021 mid-range gaming solution from Gigabyte that offers good factory overclocking and a highly efficient WindForce 3X cooling system with semi-passive silent operation. Designed for mid-range gaming systems, it provides excellent performance on Full HD monitors, suitable for games in WQHD resolution. The heart of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 GAMING OC 8G is the Navi 33 XL GPU with 2048 stream processors.

The GPU runs at 2755 MHz, the amount of GDDR6 memory is 8 GB (18000 MHz, 128-bit bus). The modification from Gigabyte differs significantly from the reference version presented by Radeon: the chip is cooled by WindForce Cooling system with three air coolers, a massive heatsink with a large number of heat-conducting pipes and a wide copper base. The board itself occupies almost 2.5 motherboard slots, its length reaches 28 cm, and at peak load this crumb consumes about 200 W, so it is recommended to install it only in full-size cases with an ATX format motherboard and a power supply unit with a power of at least 550 W.

Due to the use of graphene lubricant in the sleeve bearings, WindForce 3X can go into a quiet semi-passive mode when there is no load on the GPU. In conjunction with a powerful multi-core central processor, it is able to provide a consistently high frame rate in all popular game projects of 2015-2021 in Full HD resolution at maximum graphics settings. When the resolution is increased to Quad HD, the average FPS drops to 45-50, and stutters and freezes appear periodically due to lack of memory.

If there is not enough FPS, the manufacturer recommends turning off hardware ray tracing, lowering the graphics settings to medium, or activating the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution artificial resolution system. In addition to games, it can be successfully used to accelerate the processing of media content (color correction, applying various effects to photos / videos), 3D rendering using GPU computing resources, solving machine learning problems and compressing high-resolution video up to 8K video, including for compression on the fly during game streaming. Unlike past generations of Radeon GPUs, it is friendly with modern AV-1 codecs and boasts the presence of four video ports at once (one HDMI 2.1 + three DisplayPort 2.1), which simplify the use of multi-mount combinations.
