An advanced top-tier graphics card from Asus with 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory is part of the new NVIDIA RTX 50 graphics card lineup based on the Blackwell architecture (2025). It is positioned as a fairly expensive product for demanding gamers, enthusiasts, and professionals. Within the new lineup, it is only second in power to the flagship RTX 5090 graphics accelerator with 32 GB of video memory.

It supports the enhanced DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation and intelligent upscaling. Unlike the more premium ROG Strix models, the Asus GeForce RTX 5080 TUF Gaming OC features a minimalist design. The card's case lacks aggressive elements, and its appearance is more suited to sleek and tidy builds that focus on modern style. Nevertheless, the card supports Asus's signature Aura Sync RGB lighting, which allows you to customize visual effects according to user preferences and synchronize them with other system components.

The refined cooling system includes a vapor chamber, a massive heatsink, and three Axial-tech fans, providing efficient cooling even during overclocking. However, the graphics card is quite large (length 348 mm, thickness 3.5 slots), which must be taken into account when selecting a case, as these dimensions exceed the specifications of most popular Midi Tower cases. A software package, GPU Tweak 3, is also included for easier overclocking and customization of the graphics card, as well as the MuseTree application for generating images using AI. The use of dual BIOS allows for on-the-fly switching between performance and quiet operating modes.
