The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is NVIDIA's flagship graphics card (except for the Titan XP, which is aimed not so much at gamers as at computer enthusiasts) and Aorus, Gigabyte's new sub-brand. Aorus products (not only video cards, but also motherboards and laptops) are the most performant and richly equipped in the Gigabyte lineup.

Three deck cooler

The cooling system of the Aorus GTX 1080 Ti is extremely unusual. The length of the graphics card is standard for dual-fan models (29 cm), which allows you to easily place it even in a compact Mini-ITX case (cubic, but not thin). But at the same time, it has three fans: the middle one is below the extreme ones, which is why the graphics card turned out to be three-slot. However, if you do not plan to install PCIe expansion cards (sound, network) in your computer, then the large thickness of the graphics card will not be a problem. And on the rear metal plate, there is a finned copper heatsink that cools the electronic components on the back of the PCB above the graphics chip. Why other graphics card manufacturers have not thought of this until now is not clear, because often this is the hottest place.

Spare port

In addition to customizable RGB lighting, the Aorus GTX 1080 Ti has an additional internal HDMI port in addition to two more on the rear interface panel. It can be switched on instead of one of the three DisplayPorts in case you need more HDMI ports. The issue of the HDMI cable output from the PC case, of course, remains open, but usually there are still some holes of sufficient diameter (for example, holes for an external CBO). In general, the Aorus GTX 1080 Ti is a flagship graphics card that allows you to play any modern game in 4K resolution at maximum graphics settings. And before the release of NVIDIA Volta, it will definitely not be equal.
