In 2020, the Chinese giant Xiaomi presented a new family of high-end smartwatches Mi Watch. The key features of this series are impressive battery life (from 8 to 14 days without recharging) and the presence of modern high-precision sensors for measuring the physical parameters of the body.

In particular, the Mi Watch series can monitor the heart rate in non-stop mode, track the level of oxygen saturation (SpO2), the maximum level of oxygen consumption (VO2 max), monitor the quality and duration of sleep, as well as track the level of stress and fatigue. .

Plus, Xiaomi Mi Watch supports more than a hundred sports modes and dozens of different watch faces, is equipped with a built-in GPS / GLONASS positioning system and supports application notifications. Given the affordable price tags that barely exceed $100, the Mi Watch seems like an interesting alternative to the long-lasting Mi Band fitness trackers that can't measure SpO2 and VO2 max levels.

In addition to the original Mi Watch model, several modifications have been released in this series, the most popular of which are Mi Watch Colour Sports, Mi Watch Premium and Revolve Active. All of them are equipped with 1.39-inch AMOLED displays, Wi-Fi 4 receivers and an optional NFC. The main differences are in the material of the frame (aluminium or steel), the class of the protective glass (Gorilla Glass or sapphire glass) and minor technical details.
