The mandatory attributes of Mi Band are a smart alarm clock, heart rate monitor, pedometer, calorie counter, activity tracker, message indicator and basic workout tracker.

Perhaps the main charm of Mi Band is their progressive movement forward. Firstly, the battery life is gradually improving and the quality and size of the AMOLED display is growing. Secondly, the functionality is constantly expanding. For example, with the release of the 4th version of the Mi Band, fans of the brand received the long-awaited NFC for contactless payment and a microphone to control the voice assistant. Plus, the AMOLED display has become larger and the number of dial variations has increased.

In the fifth Mi Band, the function of monitoring women's health and the ability to control the smartphone camera from the watch has been added. Well, the 6th Mi Band raised the bar even higher. The display has become almost one and a half times larger, the number of supported types of training has increased to 30, a stress monitoring function and a PAI health assessment system have appeared.

At the same time, it is important to understand that the Mi Band does not look as impressive as smartwatches from Apple, Huawei, Samsung or Garmin. The Mi Band's appearance has hardly changed since the very first version of the bracelet: in fact, it's just a silicone strap, in the centre of which a small "capsule" with a display and a device filling is inserted. The only difference is the design of the strap and the shape of the display — the usual Mi Band turned out to be more rounded, while the rectangular Redmi Band is a little more like a classic electronic watch.
