A full-sized ATX motherboard from Asus, operating under the AMD B850 chipset and equipped with an AM5 socket, which ensures complete compatibility with all the latest AMD Ryzen processors (series 7000, 8000, and 9000 with Zen 4 or Zen 5 architecture). The motherboard falls into the mid-price range, is part of the 2025 The Ultimate Force lineup, and is aimed at gamers who are looking for a quality motherboard with a reliable power system and efficient cooling.
ASUS engineers have equipped the board with a powerful 14+2+1-phase power subsystem using Alpha & Omega AOZ53071QI power elements, each rated at 80 A, with the power subsystem managed by proprietary DIGI+ ASP2308 PWM controllers, which allow the board to confidently handle power even for extremely powerful, demanding, and hot processors like the Ryzen 9 9950X. The B850-Plus WiFi is excellently prepared for the future thanks to support for advanced connectivity standards.
The motherboard features three M.2 slots supporting the latest PCIe iterations (1x5.0, 2x4.0). Each M.2 slot comes with its own heatsink for effective cooling of drives during intensive work. There are 4 DIMM slots for installing RAM with support for DDR5-8000 memory and EXPO profiles. Network capabilities are represented by a high-speed 2.5-gigabit Realtek RTL8125 Ethernet controller and a MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4 support. The audio system is based on a quality Realtek ALC1220P codec with a physically isolated PCB zone to minimize interference. Notably, there is a connection group for attaching external cards with Thunderbolt/USB4 interface.
