The relatively inexpensive gaming monitor from BenQ is a 24-inch solution with Full HD resolution and decent additional features. This model, in addition to the characteristic gaming design with red accents on the case, is notable for its built-in speakers (5 W) and USB 3.0 ports, which simplify the connection of peripheral devices and allow for quick charging of connected gadgets.
The BenQ Mobiuz EX240N monitor is based on an 8-bit VA panel with a high refresh rate of 165 Hz and a fairly fast response time (4 ms gray-to-gray and 1 ms for MPRT). Its gaming orientation is further confirmed by the AMD FreeSync Premium technology and additional options like Black eQualizer (a feature that brightens up dark sections of the scene).
The model also performs well for movie watching, as the screen features a high level of contrast (3000:1) and a decent brightness level (350 nits), as well as support for HDR technology. Other highlights include flicker-free backlighting (Flicker-Free), a thin bezel around the display, and the presence of in-demand connection ports (HDMI and DisplayPort).
