A mid-range gaming graphics card that hit the market in early 2017. Unlike top solutions, the nVidia GP107-400 graphics processor is made using a more advanced technological process with 14 nm standards. This technical advantage provides this model with a relatively low power consumption, and therefore reduces the requirements for the power supply. This modification of the 1050 Ti is equipped with MSI's proprietary Twin Frozr VI cooling system, which has a single oversized heat pipe, an aluminium radiator with massive fins and a pair of 90mm Torx 2.0 axial fans.
The performance of such a heat spreader significantly exceeds the heat dissipation of the GPU chip and has a large margin, which is in demand when organizing custom overclocking. For the same task, the MSI GTX 1050 TI Gaming 4G graphics card is equipped with an additional six-pin power connector. Factory overclocking profiles suggest a 7% increase in GPU frequency, but do not apply to the operating frequencies of 4 GB GDDR5 graphics memory. In modern games of 2016-2017, at a resolution of 1920x1080, the card shows a comfortable frame rate at medium-high or high graphics settings. Thus, this model will be a good purchase for gamers with FullHD monitors and a limited low-cost.

Good day, friends! I want to share a bit about my experience with this video card. I bought it 2 years ago for 4000 UAH, back then for the money it was almost the best option, and I'll tell you right away that its cost now is extremely unjustified, as for this money you could get a used 1066, which is significantly more powerful... Anyway, in the 2 years of using it, I haven't noticed any downsides, it works stably, the fans are quiet, it maintains a temperature of around 40° at idle, 45° under medium-level tasks, and about 60° in games at 99% load. I overclocked it to 1835 MHz on the GPU and up to 8000 on the memory (temperature measurements were also taken in overclocking mode, so without it, they would be even lower), further overclocking led to artifacts and crashes. At maximum load, it consumes 78 watts, so a powerful PSU is not needed for it, a 500W one would do, but the main thing is that it should be of good quality. As for gaming, it delivers about 200 FPS in CS:GO on average (reaching up to 250) at max settings, around 100 FPS in Fall Guys (max settings), about 80-90 FPS in Dead By Daylight on high, Rainbow Six around 80 FPS (high settings), and in GTA 5 (RP) about 80 FPS at high graphics settings. In general, it's a good video card, practically flaw-free (except for the current price), and if you find it at a reasonable price, go for it, it's worth it. In 2018 it held up well, paired with an i5 7700k, showed good results in 2018 (45-60 fps), and in 2019 this combination lost ground (30-45 fps). In 2020 it’s generally rubbish for xeons (10-30 fps). As for the cost: it is unfairly overpriced. Now the r5 3600 + rx 570 4gb assembly is 2 heads higher than the previous one.
