Balanced and affordable mid-range gaming graphics card based on Nvidia TU116 GPU with Turing progressive microarchitecture. Designed to build a balanced entry-level gaming PC, can be used to upgrade existing gaming systems. Provides comfortable gameplay in most popular games of 2015-2020 in FullHD resolution at high or maximum graphics quality settings. It differs from the popular MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING in the use of an improved 7th generation Twin Frozr heat dissipation system and a more noticeable factory overclocking of the GPU (+ 5% boost mode).
The dual-slot cooling system of this model is built on the basis of three heat pipes with two durable innovative Torx 3.0 fans equipped with an optimized impeller. It guarantees stable and quiet operation of MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING X graphics card under high gaming loads, and when the GPU temperature is less than 60 °C, the fans stop and the cooling system enters silent passive mode. Unlike the GTX 1660 models, the GTX 1660 SUPER design uses high-speed GDDR6 graphics memory with an increased effective clock speed (14000 MHz vs. 8000 MHz). The graphics card is not demanding on the power of the power supply (TDP 125 W), it works with 4K/8K monitors and VR headsets.
