A pre-top-end graphics card from the new GeForce RX 50 series (Blackwell architecture), which NVIDIA introduced in 2025. According to NVIDIA, the latest Blackwell microarchitecture guarantees a significant increase in performance and energy efficiency compared to the previous generation, and when using DLSS 4.0, this model will provide gaming performance at the level of the previous generation flagship RTX 4090.

The key feature of DLSS 4 was the use of more advanced neural networks and a pumped-up frame generator, which is capable of generating 3 intermediate frames, significantly increasing the performance of the video card. For comparison, RTX 40 video cards with DLSS 3 work on the “one generated frame per one rendered” scheme. Also in DLSS 4, the ray tracing system was improved and the number of virtual artifacts was reduced.

Like its predecessor, the RTX 4070, this model is equipped with 12 GB of video memory, but instead of GDDR6, it uses a newer and faster GDDR7 with a 192-bit bus and an operating frequency of 28000 MHz. The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G GAMING TRIO OC version is equipped with an improved TRI FROZR 4 cooling system with three STORMFORCE fans. In combination with an improved radiator and heat pipes, the system effectively dissipates heat even under peak loads, ensuring the stability of the card when overclocking. The use of new thermal interfaces also helps to improve cooling efficiency, which is especially important for the factory overclocked OC Edition. Among other features of the model, the built-in MSI Mystic Light Sync illumination, support for the PCI-E 5.0 interface, as well as proprietary applications for tuning and overclocking MSI Center and Afterburner stand out.
