The key feature of DLSS 4 was the use of more advanced neural networks and a pumped-up frame generator, which is capable of generating 3 intermediate frames, significantly increasing the performance of the video card. Also in DLSS 4, the ray tracing system was improved and the number of virtual artifacts was reduced.
Like its predecessor, the RTX 4070, this model is equipped with 12 GB of video memory, but instead of GDDR6, it uses a newer and faster GDDR7 with a 192-bit bus and an operating frequency of 28000 MHz. In combination with an improved radiator and heat pipes, the system effectively dissipates heat even under peak loads, ensuring the stability of the card when overclocking. Among other features of the model, the built-in MSI Mystic Light Sync illumination, support for the PCI-E 5.0 interface, as well as proprietary applications for tuning and overclocking MSI Center and Afterburner stand out.
