Under the banner of the Charge series, the Fitbit brand, bought by Google, produces classic fitness bracelets with things required for such products, such as a pedometer, workout tracker, smart alarm clock, women's calendar, heart rate monitor, built-in workout tracker and a pack of sensors for measuring physical activity. Charge trackers are compatible with smartphones based on iOS/Android operating systems and can display notifications about calls and text messages. Depending on the specific model, the average battery life can range from 7 to 30 days.

The Charge series does not stand still; literally every update brings with it something important and significant. If the capabilities of Charge 3 by today's standards look frankly outdated, then Charge 4 added GPS and NFC modules, it became possible to keep a women's calendar and monitor heart rate around the clock and calculate movement speed. And instead of a monochrome screen, the manufacturer has finally installed a color AMOLED display with the Always on Display function.

In the fall of 2023, Google, which owns the Fitbit brand, presented the 6th version of Charge. The bracelet has learned to work with Google services (including YouTube Music) and recognize more types of workouts, and the quality of measurements of physical indicators has increased by 60% in comparison with Charge 5. Google boasts that they used the smart AI algorithms of the Pixel Watch to do this. The main external difference from the Charge 5 is a separate touch button to turn on the clock and return the menu to the main dial. Otherwise, Charge 6 almost completely copies its predecessor.
