Fitbit brand smartwatches can be classified as wearable gadgets in the upper price segment. The Sense 2 model runs the proprietary FitbitOS operating system, which, among other things, supports contactless payments (Google Wallet / + Fitbit Pay services), is compatible with other Google services (including Youtube Music) and supports control using the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Compared to the original 2020 model, Sense 2 adds an EDA skin sensor that measures the level of emotional arousal associated with increased activity of the sweat glands, allowing for more precise and consistent changes in stress levels. In addition, the watch is able to carry out comprehensive measurements of a wide variety of physical indicators, supports contactless payment, has serious navigation tools (GPS, aGPS, GLONASS) and can completely replace any popular fitness tracker for counting calories burned, monitoring sleep quality, and measuring ECG and other important indicators.
Essential things for fitness gadgets, such as a smart alarm clock and a women's calendar, are also supported. Given Fitbit's extensive sports heritage, the gadget goes beyond most wearables for athletes, allowing it to generate entire PDF reports with the most important data about the user's health and well-being over the past few months. The gadget claims to support about 40 different sports modes.
With a Fitbit Premium subscription, this number automatically increases to 200, and the user has at his disposal a kind of sports assistant that helps adapt the training program depending on the overall level of exercise, stress and lack of sleep. For communication with iPhone and Android smartphones there is a built-in Bluetooth class 5.0 receiver. Unlike Fitbit fitness trackers, which can display information about messages and calls, the Sense 2 watch goes further, allowing you to receive voice calls directly from the watch if it is connected to a smartphone. The manufacturer promises about 6 days of battery life in normal mode, which involves regular use of Bluetooth with periodic activation of GPS navigation. In navigator mode with GPS always on, Sense 2 will last no more than 5 hours.

Used this watch for a few days, didn't like it and returned it, because for this money you can buy something more comfortable. They look great on a woman's wrist, have pleasant animations, many state trackers, excellent features (from description) 1. Fitbit brand smartwatch is a wearable gadget that provides a lot of useful data about the user's health status. In addition to the heart rate and oxygen level in the blood that are familiar today, for example, body temperature and ECG are added here. The latter metric, of course, cannot be compared with a professional medical examination, but, as stated, it can warn of irregular heart rate and atrial fibrillation.
The Fitbit Sense 2 is also equipped with a cEDA sensor responsible for tracking electrodermal activity. By default, 40 training modes are available (and with a paid Fitbit Premium subscription - as many as 200), with popular cardio classes and swimming automatically recognized. The GPS module and other sensors will help determine the speed, distance covered, approximate calorie consumption and other useful information for an amateur athlete.
The model runs under the proprietary operating system Fitbit OS. True, the lack of the ability to download songs or at least switch songs played from a paired smartphone will not be to the liking of music lovers.
In most scenarios, smart watches can work up to 6 days without recharging, but with active GPS, they run out quickly enough - in 5 hours. In general, those who want to control their health and exercise from time to time should take a closer look at the Fitbit Sense 2.
