Laptops Asus series BR (for study)
Asus BR
Asus offers laptops in various categories: from strict enterprise devices, gaming systems and professional laptops for artists and designers, to entry-level models that are often classified as “for study”. The BR series of laptops falls into this category, including modern, inexpensive devices with affordable prices.
The core of the series consists of compact laptops and ultrabooks with a typical display diagonal of 11 to 14 inches. Basic equipment usually looks super modest and includes a fingerprint scanner and a wireless receiver with Wi-Fi 6/Wi-Fi 6E, and the case may have optional protection against moisture. At the same time, in terms of design, all Asus BR laptops with their thick frames around the display look old-fashioned and slightly unsightly. The manufacturer prefers to save money on screens, so don’t expect a riot of colors. The image quality is not bad, but far from great, and the matrices are usually not the most modern solutions in the WVA or TN+film format.
In terms of hardware, everything is also quite modest; after all, you need to keep the cost to a minimum. Most often in the series there are options with the simplest 4 or 8-core Intel N200/N300 processors, 8 GB of RAM, integrated UHD Graphics Xe and M.2 SSD storage with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB. This hardware provides sufficient performance for working with text documents, surfing the web, watching videos and using office applications, but it is definitely not enough for some more complex tasks, such as converting videos, compiling code or creating music.
