Not having much weight in the laptop market, the Korean giant decided to go with the trump cards and immediately stand out from other ultrabooks of the premium class. Most Galaxy-buks are equipped with non-trivial QLED displays for this class with full coverage of the sRGB and DCI P3 colour spectra. Also, many Galaxy-beeches support Wireless PowerShare technology, with which the user can quickly recharge a smartphone or smartwatch. The role of the contact pad for energy transmission is performed by the touchpad.

Otherwise, the functionality is at the same level as that of other premium ultrabooks: fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, a fingerprint scanner, a comfortable keyboard with a neat backlight, a card reader and a strong aluminium case will not give cause for regret. Well, Galaxy-beeches look great, why be modest.

The range of the series is constantly updated. By the middle of 2021, the most relevant models are Samsung Galaxy Ion ― classic laptops with a display diagonal of 13 or 15" based on Intel Core i5/i7 generation Tiger Lake processors and integrated Iris Xe graphics. In addition to impressive functionality and performance, they can boast of small weight and thickness: some models weigh less than a kilogram, and their thickness does not exceed 13".

At the same time, Galaxy Book Flex Alpha laptops belong to the class of transformers, which, thanks to the rotary touchscreen display, can be used as a massive 13-inch tablet. The design, equipment, QLED displays and functionality are identical to the Galaxy Ion models.
