Laptops HP series Pavilion (mid-range)
HP Pavilion
Perhaps the oldest, most important and recognizable series of laptops in the HP range. Over the decades of Pavilion's existence, under these flags, a wide variety of laptops, desktop computers, nettops and all-in-ones have come out. If we take a closer look at laptops of recent years, it turns out that the core of the series is made up of universal middle-class models with a low-cost of up to $800. Similar laptops with the same success can be recorded in the class "multimedia", "working" or "study".
Usually, the basis of Pavilion laptops allows you to work normally “without brakes” in conditional Photoshop or Cubase. Most models are built on the Intel platform, but in 2020, HP has chosen AMD Ryzen processors as a more interesting alternative. Most devices also feature integrated Intel Iris/Radeon Vega graphics and flexible NVMe SSDs for lightning-fast system and application startup.
In 2019, HP designers updated the look of the Pavilion line, drawing many of the design elements from the HP Envy ultrabooks. The bezels around the displays have become thinner, the touchpad area has increased, interesting colours have been added, and the design of the keyboard has completely changed. Also under the screen appeared a mesh pattern in the spirit of HP Envy, underlined by the logo of the speaker manufacturer Bang & Olufsen. And aluminium came to replace plastic when creating the case. If HP laptops of past generations did not seek to evoke some emotions in the buyer, the updated Pavilion laptops really want to please the user.
The core of the series are classic 15-inch laptops with basic equipment that includes fast charging, HDMI, multiple USB ports (including USB-C with Power Delivery), a card reader, dual-band Wi-Fi and the status acoustics mentioned above. On displays, HP prefers to save money, so don't expect a riot of colours. The image quality isn't bad, but it's far from great either. Also, recently, convertible laptops with 13- and 14-inch touch screens have been released in the line. Thus, the relationship with the Envy family has become even closer.
