A line of affordable entry-level laptops designed for office work, studying, video communication, trading, and multimedia entertainment. Like all representatives of the HP Pavilion series, they focus on democratic pricing, practicality, and modern functionality. Despite the low price, HP Pavilion 16-af0000 laptops have a strict and modern look, with the body made primarily of aluminum instead of plastic.
The advertised battery life by the manufacturer can reach up to 11 hours, using a USB-C port for power with support for Power Delivery and fast charging (50% in 30 minutes). The built-in 1080p webcam is equipped with quality microphones and offers fairly good quality. A 3D facial scanner is provided for user data protection. Network capabilities are offered by a wireless module with Wi-Fi 6E.
The ergonomic keyboard features a single-color backlight, and the touchpad dimensions are increased for convenience. Regardless of the specific modification, a hybrid 12-core Intel Core Ultra 5 chip (Meteor Lake, Series 1) is used as the processor, with reduced power consumption and simple integrated graphics from Intel. The processor and integrated video card are complemented by 8 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with a clock speed of 6400 MHz. Storage is managed by a fast and compact SSD with PCIe 4.0 support and memory ranging from 512 to 1024 GB. Considering the nature of the series, the manufacturer has equipped all laptops with fairly simple 16-inch IPS screens with a resolution of 1080p, a classic refresh rate of 60 Hz, and basic color reproduction at the level of 63% sRGB.
