— function that allows you to synchronize the backlight of the laptop keys (see the relevant paragraph) with the backlight of other devices connected to it — for example, mouse or speakers. Thanks to this feature, all backlit devices can work in concert, for example, giving the same colour or turning on / off at the same time. This is especially important for advanced backlight systems with colour customization (RGB); in fact, in such systems, synchronization is mainly provided for.Backlighting is especially popular in various gaming accessories, so most laptops with this feature are advanced gaming models. Note that different manufacturers use different proprietary backlight technologies, which are usually not compatible with each other; so to use this function, you will need either peripherals of the same brand as the laptop itself, or accessories of the multi compatibility format — with support for several technologies at once, including that provided in the laptop.
