Following the launch of the PS5 console and full entry into the PC market, Sony has launched a brand new line of Inzone gaming devices. In addition to several monitors, it included several headsets that are very similar to each other. They all boast futuristic PS5-inspired designs, combo connectivity, thoughtful ergonomics, balanced sound, and support for 360 Spatial Sound. Also, these are rare gaming gadgets for the PlayStation console that can be connected to a PC without too much pandemonium.

At launch in autumn 2022, Sony has introduced 3 headsets: Inzone H3, Inzone H7 and Inzone H9. All of them are made in the same style and equipped with an identical sound system, the difference lies only in positioning and additional features. So the younger model Inzone H3 supports only a wired connection (3.5 mm audio cable or an adapter with USB A), while the H7 and H9 are designed to connect using Bluetooth or a radio receiver. In turn, the top-of-the-line H9 headset is equipped with built-in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is a great alternative to the passive noise isolation of closed on-ear headphones. In addition to this ANC, the Inzone H9 has a quick charging system for the built-in battery, and the bowl mounts are decorated with a not too catchy backlight.

Other than that, they are nearly identical closed-back on-ear headphones with an extremely comfortable headband design, oversized earcups with comfortable fabric ear cushions, and a high level of comfort. They do not weigh down the head during a long roller, the ears in them do not sweat much in the heat, and the width of the headband arc is suitable for any adult head. For voice communication, a flexible boom microphone with Discord certification and a classic noise reduction system is used. The sound is provided by proprietary 40mm dynamic drivers, which Sony designed based on its experience in developing musical Hi-Fi headphones. Thanks to this approach, Inzone headsets sound clean and balanced, without suffering from an overabundance of bass and a lack of detail in the mids.
