In the NW-WS line, the Japanese brand Sony produces highly specialized sports headphones, ready even for swimming in the pool, even for a long hike in the mountains. In the title of the series, the name of the once iconic Walkman player is encrypted, which is thus paid homage to. The headphones have a built-in MP3 player with a small internal storage. Usually, it is either 4 GB or 16 GB. By modern standards, there is not much space, but there is more than enough for classes. The player is as simple as possible, without any additional chips, playlists or equalizers. The main thing is that it should be easy to manage and it should not distract from training.

Sony has been releasing personal sports acoustics for several years, so the headphones have a thoughtful design and excellent ergonomics. As the basis of the headphones of the NW-WS series, a massive mount with huge clasping arms is used, and the headphones themselves are connected to each other by a dense silicone cord. Such a design is especially useful for people who literally live sports, and do not occasionally visit the gym. Thanks to her, the headphones hold fast during sharp jumps, hundred metres in the pool or at a crossfit class, when you need not to die and not lose them during the next approach to 50 burpees.

Usually, the headphone case is seriously protected from water and dust. For example, the popular model NW-WS623 has an IPX5 protection class. Sony also says that the models of this series are better prepared for bad weather conditions and are designed with the expectation of cold up to minus 45 degrees Celsius. There is no need to look for a built-in noise reduction system and other charms of TWS headphones here, the idea is different. In addition, the passive noise insulation of most representatives of the series is at a fairly high level.
