Model overview based on user reviews
The Sony Pulse 3D headphones are designed primarily for gaming, offering compatibility with PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as PC and Nintendo Switch via a dongle. Users appreciate their comfortable fit and decent sound quality for gaming, although some note that the sound quality is average for music. The 12-hour battery life is a highlight, supporting long gaming sessions. However, the microphone quality is frequently criticized, described as poor and akin to "coming from a bucket." The ear pads, made of leatherette, can become uncomfortable in warm weather and may deteriorate over time. While the headset's design is visually appealing, it may look awkward when worn outside. The button placement is also noted as non-intuitive. Despite these drawbacks, the headset is considered a good option for PS5 users, especially when purchased at a discounted price. However, for those seeking higher audio quality or better microphone performance, alternatives might be worth exploring.

Better buy something else)
20 February 2022
I bought it in the hope that I could stream from Sonya, but in the end the headset turned out to suck for these purposes and Sonya can’t stream normally. I would use it with a PC, but it periodically starts to fall off with wheezing and then stops producing sound altogether until it reconnects. As a result, I'm thinking about selling this junk.
-battery life - easily lasted for long gaming sessions
-ability to connect to PC and Switch via dongle
-comfortable fit - head and ears don't "go numb"
-sound quality is decent for gaming in terms of quality and frequency, but I don't play first-person shooters and I'm not familiar with precise positioning, music plays average
- microphone is just trash for 100 rubles
- periodic dropouts and sound distortions, even though the receiver is within 2 meters in line of sight
- non-intuitive button placement, constantly confusing
- look awkward on the head, better not to wear them outside)
- ear pads made of leatherette - hot in summer, and will start to crack and crumble in the future

This is my first gaming headset for a console. Overall, it does its job since I mostly use it with the PS5 and occasionally with a PC as a headset for calls from friends, nothing more. In terms of fit, they are generally okay, but they're far from the 3D headband of wired Audio-Technica, which I consider the benchmark. Personally, after a couple of hours of wearing them, I start to feel slight discomfort due to the pressure from the rubber band and the small ear cups. Although, when compared again to Audio-Technica, I can sit in those for half a day without any issues.

I bought them on sale using bonuses at a store where the headset was officially sold, and they cost me less than the official price, so for that price, they will do.

Generally, I believe that for the same budget, you could try to find alternatives if desired. BUT, if like me, you didn't want to bother with it too much, then the Pulse 3D is a good option to pair with the PS5.
- Good setup, all the cables are there, even a 3.5 mm one; Aunt Sonya didn't skimp, which pleasantly surprised me.
- Many functional buttons when playing on PS5, including a microphone mute and volume priority adjustment for the party (if you're in it) or game.
- Good sound for a wireless headset; you can listen to music from a PC via streaming or watch a movie, but this is not for the very picky or audiophiles.
- The headset can be used with both a console and a PC, for gaming as well as online communication.
- The microphone quality is quite decent for a headset; none of my friends complained, tested on both PS5 and PC. Besides, 99% of people will use it at home, and it’s more than enough for them.
- If the battery runs out, you can connect it via 3.5 mm, again to both the PC and the console controller.
- The battery life could have been at the level of the 1000XM3, but in reality, it's somewhere at the level of a new gamepad or even lower.
- The volume reserve is just barely enough, and in some games, I turn it up to maximum.
- There are also few volume level divisions, making it sometimes difficult to find a balance between loud and quiet.
- You can't adjust the volume wirelessly from the PC, only with the headset's buttons.
- The size of the cups, ear pads, and their depth, as well as the mobility of the cups, are just barely sufficient for me. It feels like they are made for small Asians rather than European dimensions.
- The quality of the same ear pads does not inspire confidence, most likely they will wear out in a year.
- A huge USB dongle for connecting to the console and PC is ridiculous. Compared to the [censored] from Logitech, which is god knows how old, this is a major oversight by Sony. And why on earth does the headset need this dongle for connecting to the PS5 – it's just silly!

My older brother bought a PS5, and with it, these headphones. After using them for a year and a half, in the end, the outer white frame just cracked in half, even though they were used properly.

Available for PS5 with combo connection

Sony, building on the success of its PS5 gaming console, has quickly enriched the market with gaming peripherals and related gadgets. The offerings also included headsets including the cutting-edge Inzone models with dynamic drivers and the more affordable Pulse series models that support Tempest Audio Engine 3D audio.

Stylish futuristic headphones

Sony Pulse 3D is a classic full-size closed-type gaming headset with the ability to connect via a 3.5 mm audio jack or radio. The headset features a comfortable, softly adjustable headband, fixed cups and large ear pads. The headphones are designed in a black and white color scheme, perfectly matching the design of the PlayStation 5. Despite their visual appeal, the quality of the plastic used may raise questions.

12 hours of battery life and Tempest 3D sound

Sony Pulse 3D supports PS5's Tempest 3D virtual multi-channel audio technology. The sound of the speakers is characterized by good detail, but without excessive enthusiasm. In terms of battery life, the headphones show excellent results - up to 12 hours of operation on a single charge, which is a good indicator for a device in this price category. In addition, Pulse 3D has high-quality built-in microphones and touch controls on one of the cups.
