Model numbered "945" is the flagship of the Garmin multisport watch line with a strong focus on adherents of the running disciplines of sports. The gadget was significantly "pumped" in comparison with its predecessor in the "insides", leaving an almost identical appearance to "Garmin" with the name Forerunner 935.
The screen is the head of everything
So, the smartwatch has a transflective screen of 1.2-inch diagonal with a resolution of 240x240 pixels. On top of it now installed protective glass Gorilla Glass DX with anti-reflective coating. The display of the device, which turned out to be non-touch, retains excellent readability in the sun and does not blind your eyes in the dark. In addition, the “licked” interface of the Garmin menu makes it easy to read data of any nature from the screen.
Evolutionary innovations
During the evolution of the Forerunner series, new features have been added to the watch: support for colour topographic maps of the area(to use the option, they must first be loaded into the device’s memory), the ability to make contactless payments through the Garmin Pay service and play music “over the air”. You can download up to a thousand songs to the regular storage of the gadget, plus synchronize playlists with Spotify or Deezer.

Together with information about the pace of the run and the distance covered, the watch “draws” the route of movement, collects data on cadence, vertical oscillation and foot contact time with the surface. However, Garmin Forerunner 945 is notable for improved calculation of blood oxygen saturation and the option to monitor the level of stress. The battery life of the model in the GPS tracking mode will be 36 hours, if you listen to music at the same time — 10 hours, in the usual smart mode — exactly two weeks. The best “friend” for involved runners and triathletes from the pro league is hard to find.
