The youngest model in the Garmin running squad of sports watches, designed to track the user's daily activity and duplicate alerts from a connected smartphone. The watch is equipped with a transflective screen with a diagonal of 1.04" without support for touch input. The device display has an Always-on-Display mode. The functions of the model are controlled using 5 mechanical buttons located on the side faces of the 42 mm Garmin Forerunner 45 case.
GPS. The watch can withstand deep-sea diving up to 50 m, so you can wear it on your wrist when doing water sports. Claimed battery life of the model is 13 hours in GPS tracking mode and up to one week with gentle loads. The version of the running watch with an additional prefix S at the end of the name differs from the basic modification of the wearable device in a reduced case size (39 mm versus 42 mm).

The model is equipped with a 1.04-inch screen made using Transflective technology. The display operates in Always on display mode and uses ambient light to illuminate the screen. However you will have to interact with the device using mechanical buttons: the screen does not support touch commands.
With active GPS, the watch will work up to 13 hours, and when using only basic smart functions (notifications from applications, etc.) — up to 7 days.
