A powerful solution for modern games and workloads, based on the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. The Asus GeForce RTX 4070 Ti ROG Strix 12GB OC is powered by the AD104 graphics chipset, which is overclocked out of the box to 2790 MHz. The video card is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6X video memory and uses a 192-bit memory interface with a bandwidth of 21 Gbps. Key technologies include support for real-time ray tracing and the acclaimed set of “smart” post-processing technologies DLSS 3.
Thanks to the supersampling system built into it and the frame generation system hidden under the hood, the video card can literally raise the overall level of performance several times out of thin air. This is especially critical in cases where you want to increase the resolution of the game, improve the quality of graphics, or enable resource-intensive ray tracing. There are also two HDMI 2.1 connectors and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors on board.
Power consumption is 285 W, and it is recommended to use a power supply with a power of at least 750 W. In technical terms, the RTX 4070 Ti is significantly superior to its predecessor GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in terms of the number of CUDA cores (7680 versus 6144), video buffer performance and graphics chip capabilities. In the red camp, the main competitors are near-top level video cards, such as the RX 6800 XT and RX 7800 XT.

This graphics card operates extremely quietly; the fans don't turn on when the temperature is up to 48-50 °C because the massive heatsink provides sufficient passive cooling. In not super demanding games at 2k resolution with ultra graphics settings, it consumes about 100-130 watts. You probably need to use it in 4k to reach the stated peak consumption of 285 watts. I built a setup in a small case (be quiet! Pure Base 500 FX) + installed 360 mm water cooling on the front panel of the case, and as a result, this graphics card just barely fit, pressing against the water cooling radiator. So consider this aspect in advance when choosing a graphics card and case. This is the best choice among all RTX 4070 Ti options. You can play all the latest games in 4K on ultra settings for the next couple of years, and in 2K, I think it will last for about 5-8 years. And like any modern NVIDIA graphics card, it performs excellently in video rendering, 3D design work, and streaming computer video games (speaking of streaming, you won’t be able to stream properly with an AMD graphics card). Pretty large and heavy, so make sure to consider the case dimensions before purchasing + definitely get a holder for the video card.
