In 2024, Asus introduced the latest addition to its prestigious ProArt series - the Asus GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER ProArt OC professional graphics card, designed with the needs of professionals in the visual design, animation, effects and gaming industries in mind. This model offers advanced tools to get the most out of your 3D graphics experience, including access to the NVIDIA Studio ecosystem, Reflex latency optimization features, and many other innovative technologies from NVIDIA.

According to many experts, it is an excellent and more affordable alternative to expensive and highly specialized professional video cards from NVIDIA. The video card is equipped with an NVIDIA AD104 graphics processor (5 nm) and has 7168 stream processors that provide high performance at an operating frequency of 2565 MHz. To cool the components, a three-slot cooling system is used, which effectively removes heat with minimal noise.

The cooling system, plus or minus, is identical to the solutions of the Asus TUF and ROG series, but the protective casing and fans are designed in the ProArt corporate style using black and gold colors. Key features of the model are improved 3rd generation RT cores for more efficient and realistic processing of lighting and shadows in game scenes, as well as tensor cores adapted to work with the optical flow field, improving the quality and efficiency of DLSS 3.0 smart scaling algorithms.

Due to its technical complexity, DLSS 3.0 is only supported by NVIDIA RTX 4000 series graphics cards, while earlier GPUs are limited to version 1 or 2 of the technology. Leaving aside the creative intent of the model and turning to gaming, it becomes clear that it is most effective at 2K resolution, delivering consistently high frame rates with high graphics settings in the latest hits such as Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2. For Full HD, its power is redundant, and in 4K games experience FPS drops, which is why you have to actively use DLSS.
