A modest entry-level gaming graphics card from the Nvidia 30XX family (Ampere architecture), capable of delivering consistently high frame rates in popular gaming titles until 2022 at Full HD resolution and medium graphics settings. The model is a direct replacement for the GTX 1660 and GTX 2060 cards, demonstrating an almost identical level of gaming performance. The key difference lies in the use of separate computing cores, which are responsible for hardware ray tracing (Real-Time Ray Tracing) and DLSS artificial scaling technology.

The first drastically improves lighting and reflections in games, the second draws the missing frames in games with the help of neural networks, while increasing the resolution and increasing the average FPS. The Asus GeForce RTX 3050 TUF OC 8GB version is equipped with 8 GB of high-speed GDDR6 video memory clocked at 14000 MHz. The graphics core has gone through the factory overclocking process and runs out of the box at an increased frequency of 1874 MHz.

The printed circuit board turned out to be medium in size (272 mm), so it does not promise difficulties during installation. To power the device and other PC components, the manufacturer recommends using a 550W power supply. Its heat dissipation is not high, so Asus engineers limited themselves to using a two-slot cooling system with two air coolers and a passive radiator. The design of the device turned out to be quite minimalistic, which is why it is unlikely to look appropriate in a designer case with viewing windows and complex lighting.
