The Mi Pro series of laptops was first introduced in 2018. After a number of improvements and rethinking, Xiaomi was able to turn it into one of the most attractive proposals among all Pro-line laptops. Despite the prefix pro and flagship status, the lineup includes well-equipped laptops in the “Top for your money” category. Stuffed "proshka" for $ 1000, where else will you see this?

Pro series laptops are updated annually, and only a few modifications are released with different combinations of components, so as not to confuse buyers. In 2020, in addition to the planned update, a special version of Mi Laptop Pro 15.6 Enhanced Edition was released with a more powerful graphics card and a USB-C port with support for Alternate Mode. Otherwise, these are absolutely identical laptops.

Depending on the configuration, Mi Laptop Pro can be equipped with Core i5 or Core i7 processors, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB SSD. The only controversial point is the built-in graphics card. Usually, this is a low-powered GeForce MX250, which does not pull modern games at all, but at the same time it drains the battery as quickly as the womanizer's love fades away.

In addition to the hardware filling, the strengths of the Mi Pro series should be added with a thin all-metal body, a modern set of ports, a capacious battery, fast charging, an excellent glass touchpad, a comfortable backlit keyboard and an exemplary IPS display with natural colour reproduction (100% sRGB space) and Gorilla Glass 3 protective coating. And although in some small things the typical Mi Laptop Pro lags behind the MacBook Pro and other pro laptops, given the amount spent, these are very, very competitive devices that will be equally useful for designers, musicians, coders, startups, copywriters, etc.
