IGZO monitors
IGZO
— IGZO is an abbreviation for "Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide", i.e. oxide of indium, gallium and zinc. This is semiconductor material that in such matrices replaces amorphous silicon (“liquid crystals”) traditional for other LCD screens. This technology makes it possible to create displays with very high response speed and small pixel size — the latter is especially important for creating high-resolution screens (4K and higher). In addition, IGZO is characterized by high colour quality, which allows it to be used in professional models, and low power consumption. At the same time, such monitors are significantly more expensive than the classic silicon "brothers".clear | Save List |
