Vacuum cleaners with power regulator on handle
Power adjustment on handle
— the presence in the vacuum cleaner of the power regulator mounted on the handle. For more information about power adjustment in general, see the relevant paragraph. And this method of placement is the most convenient: the regulator is located close to the user. In many models, you can work with it without changing the grip at all. In addition, for upright and handheld household vacuum cleaners (see "Product type"), this is the most convenient option also from a constructive point of view. Therefore, if such a vacuum cleaner has a power regulator, it is usually located on the handle.
As for units of a more traditional layout (such as conventional vacuum cleaners — see "Product type") — the handle is a rigid part at the end of the hose, to which a pipe or working nozzle is attached. Thus, the power regulator on the handle is a feature not only of the vacuum cleaner itself but of the complete hose. Such hoses are quite expensive, and their replacement with ordinary ones (without a power regulator) is not possible in all models. Therefore, with all its advantages, power adjustment on the handle in such units is very rare — simpler and more practical regulators on the body have become more common.
