Flex tube vacuum cleaners
Bendable tube (flex)
— a variety of vacuum tubes found in some upright models (more precisely, vacuum cleaners of the "upright with handheld" type— see "Product type"). In the middle part of such tubes, there is a hinge that allows it to be bent at an angle, lifting the lower part toward the user. This feature greatly facilitates cleaning under sofas, beds, tables, etc.: by bending the tube, you can effectively process such places without lowering the vacuum cleaner body to the floor. On the other hand, the hinge significantly complicates the design and increases its cost, and for all users, these disadvantages are far from being outweighed by the mentioned ease of use. And if you have to clean in the places described often and in large quantities, it is more reasonable to purchase a vacuum cleaner of a traditional design (for example, a conventional one — see "Product type"). That is why this type of pipe is extremely rare.bendable tube (flex) | clear | Save List |
