Laptops Dell series Alienware (gaming)
Dell Alienware (Gaming)
The Alienware company has earned a reputation on gaming laptops and other peripherals with a recognizable "alien" appearance that I don't want to be pumped up to the most. After the purchase by Dell, nothing much has changed, and the company continues to produce extreme laptops for extremely demanding gamers.
The word "extreme" got stuck here for a reason: these laptops are able to surprise even against the background of Acer Predator Triton and Asus ROG Zephyrus. They were among the first to receive gaming OLED displays with a high refresh rate. It was on Alienware laptops that we first saw 4K resolution on a 15-inch diagonal. Well, the ability to connect an additional external graphics card to a laptop is for them a thing from the category of "well, what a big deal."
Naturally, the performance of Alienware models is maximum, and the equipment is top-end. You won't find assemblies with Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM here, the minimum is Core i7, 16 GB of RAM and an RTX 2070 graphics card. It is hardly worth saying that even Cyberpunk 2077 will not be able to bring such a complete set to its knees. Well, then it all comes down to the amount you are willing to spend. Regardless of the amount spent, most representatives of the series are equipped with mechanical keyboards with zonal RGB backlight, specialized Killer LAN controllers, Thunderbolt ports and a set of software for overclocking the system, updating the BIOS and temperature control.
While other manufacturers are gradually moving away from the concept of "gaming design", drawing inspiration rather from business-class ultrabooks, Alienware, on the contrary, strives to show its nature: here you have a defiantly aggressive design, colorful lighting, and a recognizable logo in the shape of an alien's head. The cases are usually old-school and thick enough to fit both massive hardware and the Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling system for this good. There are also modifications made in a thin case, which makes the laptop more mobile without compromising performance. The case materials are usually with a twist — instead of the usual plastic and aluminium, light and durable carbon fibre or magnesium alloy is most often used.
