However, this is not true: since its inception, IPS technology has undergone many improvements, and its response speed is almost equal to that of TN. Thus, such screens will be useful both for professional artists, designers, retouchers, etc., and for those who want to watch movies or play games with maximum colour quality. However note that such screens are not cheap. Also note that there are several varieties of IPS on the market that differ in characteristics. For example, E-IPS is relatively simple and inexpensive option, P-IPS and H-IPS are professional (when they were created, maximum attention was paid to colour reproduction), and AH-IPS was developed with an eye on ultra-high resolution screens.
