For more information about the characteristics of the interface itself, see "HDMI output"; but here we note that the most popular way to use such an input is the operation of monoblock as an external screen for another device (for example, as laptop monitor). However, other, more specific options for using this function are also possible — for example, recording an incoming video signal, or transferring (switching) it to one of the PC video outputs.
