Zen 4 Raphael CPU PCs

AMD Zen 4 Raphael (6th Gen)

— AMD Ryzen 7000 processors based on the Zen 4 architecture. First introduced in Fall 2022.

The CPU dies are manufactured for the Raphael family by TSMC using an advanced 5nm process technology. The main architectural changes in Zen 4 are related to changing the behavior of the pipeline front, optimizing load / store blocks, and increasing the L2 cache. The architecture is tailored for DDR5 RAM and PCIe 5.0 bus support. Raphael processors will need an AM5 socket motherboard with power consumption limit increased to 230W.
