— the debut of AMD Ryzen 9 processors on the Zen microarchitecture took place in 2019. This series has become the top among all Ryzens, displacing Ryzen 7 from the top of the podium. The first Ryzen 9 models had 12 cores and 24 threads, in later ones this number was increased to 16 and 32, respectively. Processors of the line are usually used for professional tasks (design, video editing, 3D rendering), games, streaming and other high-load applications.
