Kaby Lake CPU computers
Kaby Lake (7th Gen)
— kaby Lake is an Intel processor microarchitecture introduced in 2016 as the successor to Skylake. Due to technical difficulties, the manufacturer, contrary to the Tick-Tock principle, did not reduce the technical process — Kaby Lake chips are built on the same 14 nm as the previous two generations. From the improvements introduced in this generation, we can highlight the built-in support for USB 3.1 gen2 (in Skylake this required separate controllers on the motherboard) and Thunderbolt 3, as well as number of improvements in the graphic part.It is also worth noting that this category includes both original Kaby Lake processors and high-end Kaby Lake-X, designed for workstations and other high-performance systems.
